You’ve gone without writing a blog post

So, my son has a personality. Some of you know this…some may not. If you don’t, you need to find this out for yourself.

Dakota has a new blog. For a while, he and his sister have been sharing, but Dakota has new vision and aspirations. So check it out!

I wanted to take a second and say thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday today. I had so many Facebook, Twitter and Blog comments, I was pleasantly overwhelmed. I am blown away. You are all so kind and I am blessed.

tam and I hung out all day together, because we both have been sick. So I was home and mellow, but it was good.

Here was my cake. White cake. Vanilla frosting w/whipped cream mixed in. Strawberry preserves and whipped cream for the filling. Perfect!

So, we celebrated tam’s Bday a couple of weeks ago and Tuesday is mine.

So, to honor our birthday’s, I thought we’d do a “birthday cake” edition of Sunday Sustenance.

Some of these are ridiculous! All of these cakes are made out of sugar, flour and sweets.

I am a text person. I love email and texting. It’s quick, easy, I’m always connected to it and there’s a paper trail. Plus, it’s all dealt with on my own time. It’s one of the reason’s I love Twitter as well

Voicemail, however, can drive me nuts! I find myself needing to deal with it right away. Depending on the phone you own. There is either a flashing light or a beep that doesn’t go away until you listen to or erase your voicemail. Once I started using the iPhone, most of my worries went away. The visual voicemail system on the iPhone is brilliant. Deal with it when I want. Refer back to it over and over and pick and choose which messages I want to listen to. No menus, waiting through messages or accidental deletions.

I thought I was set…until now!

Enter Spinvox. My buddy Matt Singley was giving away free subscriptions to Spinvox for being a Twitter friend. Needless to say, I was entered in the drawing and walked away with one of the subscriptions.
