Today…

*I am enjoying a couple days off.

*I am watching football.

*Is the one day I will not be rooting for the Pac 10. Go Penn State! And what about my Ducks!!!!

*I am wearing a zip up hoodie with no shirt underneath. Tam, says it looks creepy. It doesn’t help that my son comes in and gives me a high five, cause it looks cool.

*I am currently enjoying a half caffe, venti, double shot on ice w/half the sweetener. I worry about my figure.

*I should be writing an amazing New Year’s Resolution post. I got nothing, except, do some of the same stuff and don’t do some of the same stuff. Yes, you can quote me.

*I am looking forward to a couple of blog friends that are coming into town next week. I can’t wait!!!

*I am thinking about this weekend. Can’t wait to worship with our church. Cant wait to dig into a new study on Proverbs!

*I am looking at the little counter for my RSS feeds and realizing that there are over 500 blog posts I have not read. You guys sure write alot.

*I am thinking about a series of posts I am going to co-write with my friend Gitz, discussing perspective on life and being angry with God. This should be good.

*I am full of joy, for family, friends and an amazing God.

Happy New Year

My Favorite 3…

So, Monday I highlighted the Bottom 3 posts of the year. The least active. Yesterday I posted the top 3 posts. The most active. Today, the final day of 2008, I give you my favorite 3 posts.

#3 “I Hate That About Me” – I have always been transparent and honest with you. Maybe that makes you happy or maybe it frustrates you. But, for me to live online with you, I have to do everything I can, to help you know the real me, as much as that is possible. I picked this post, because I believe it is a good example of that.

#2 “Church and Culture…Are They Opposed?” – I enjoy a good discussion. I like to challenge you and I love being challenged as well. This year had a lot of politics mixed in, but at the heart of all of it, are my thoughts on church and God. I love the discussions we have around here. They have been fewer lately as my time has been busy. But I hope to spark them up again soon.

#1 “The Devil’s In The Details” -When you get down to it, I’m a dork. Yup…it’s true. This blog should always make you think, encourage you and most of all, put a smile on your face. Hopefully this post did all three. But, I am sure it just made you laugh at me :)

Happy New Year!

The Top 3…

Here are the top 3 posts from this year…

#3 “An Open letter to Married Men” – So, needless to say, I ranted a bit in this one. I was angry. Maybe too angry. But my intentions and feelings are still the same. 382 views, 57 comments.

#2 “The truth Is Not Good Enough” – This was a tough thought for me. I needed your help. 469 views, 57 comments.

AND, #1 “I Need Your Vote” – Seems, you really enjoyed picking out a new avatar. Yup, this was the big one. 779 views, 188 comments. Hilarious!

The Bottom 3…

So, for the last 3 days of the year, I thought I would post up some goodies from the past. Just kind of look back at the year a bit.

Wednesday, I will be posting my favorite 3 posts of the year. These are my personal favorites.

Tuesday, I will post the top 3 posts of the year. These are the posts that got the most reads.

Today, we start with the bottom 3 posts of the year. For whatever reason, you…my readers, decided that these 3 posts were so bad, that you just decided to not even read them. So, you can read them again :)

Here they are!

#3 “Blood Pressure and Gas” – Not sure why you would consider this, non-reading material :) Views 20, comments 5.

#2 “A Weekend of Jazz…Gear” – Ok, maybe a bit techie. Views 16, comments 4.

AND, #1 “Today, I Am Here” – This was a day outing to Autzen Stadium with my family. Unfortunately the day included a ton more rain than the picture in the post shows. Views 14, comments 3.
