My favorite part of the 4th! I joined the Army back in 1994 with the hope of blowing stuff up. As a parachute rigger, I didn’t get the chance to blow stuff up, though I did watch a $100,000 hummer leave the back of an airplane at 2,500 feet and plummet to its death. One of the straps holding the chute to the sled failed and, well…, crash! Parts went everywhere. It’s was awesome.

    Alece, thanks :)

Scott, I loved that last one they set off last night…holy crap!

Papa, we had a great time. I hope you and Mama had a wonderful 4th.

Fred, I love having “out of town” friends :)

Dan, we probably could get in trouble with that, but technically it’s just a whistling pete taped inside a 2 liter bottle and whistling pete’s and 2 liter bottles are legal here :)

Jay, that would have been awesome to watch!

    Tam, Sup’ :)

B- I would say you had more fun taking the video, than Derek setting it off…

We mostly hung out with family, and chased our 1 year old all over the place.

Well, obviously you had way more fun than I. I didn’t blow anything up but I did get to ride the Harley to Virginia Beach to see my sister.

Hope you have a terrific weekend, at least what is left of it.

Adam, those things were built so that the top blew one way and the bottom blew another. They worked great, cause they were basically concussion and sound. There was no shrapnel involved. So they were fun!

Polly, You got to go driving…awesome! That sounds good. We are busy for the rest of the weekend, but we will enjoy it as much as we can, thanks!
