Going To The Fair…Day 4
Well, this week is almost over. I have today(Saturday) and tomorrow ends at 6. I’ve had a blast. I love how so many of you are following on Twitter. It’s been fun to keep the updates rolling.
So, I thought that today, I would highlight some of the fair food. And to start with, I need to make Ric and Elaine happy.
Funnel Cake. I’ve actually never had it. What does it taste like?
I’ve had 2 of these this week. But I’ve eaten well and actually lost a pound since Tuesday. So is this a Slushie or Shaved Ice? Let’s take a vote 
This is ridiculous. I wish I had something in the picture to give you a size perspective. This is $10 and about 18 inches long. I saw 2 teenage girls sit down with this today…and they each had one!
Tam and Kota came by yesterday. I loved that they stopped in to say hey to me. This is quite a long week without them. I snapped this pic, just in case I get lonely.

This is an instant heart attack!
Like I said earlier, I am actually eating pretty well. besides my Slushie excursions I get to eat whatever catering for the main bands is serving. They actually bring it to me, cause I don’t have long enough breaks to walk down an get the food. What service! Anyway, it’s been very good. Lots of salads and fruits. Plus either chicken, pork loin or salmon. I have enjoyed all of it. Plus a little cake for desert.
Okay, I don’t even want to say what that funnel cake looks like. What does it taste like? AND Hot babe by the sound board.
Put a dollar bill or a can of Coke next to that 18-inch monstrosity. That’ll give us some perspective.

Okay, I ate two bites of a funnel cake last night and it was horrible. It tasted like pure grease! (like a really greasy thin doughnut without the sweetness) Thanks for the picture!
well..funnelcake is good, but it should be smothered in 10x sugar…and what is that thing that cost 10dollars..I don’t know what it is…mmmmm shaved ice probably..but here that would be a sno-cone..a very big and yummy looking one…mmmmmand the visitor pic is exceptionally pretty, and if I met her I would be instantly like her! oh I did and I do!

You know, Brent, if you don’t mind my saying so, Tam has nice hair. I never really noticed the tint before. Must be the sunlight. Or her black and white avatar. Or did she change color recently? Well, anyway, it looks nice. And I’m glad she was able to stop by for a visit while you’re working the fair and eating all that…that…that…that WHATEVER!!!

Hey B, I’ve been at the fair a couple of times this week. I’ll be there tomorrow as well so when I’m off shift I’ll pop on over to say HI!
As for funnel cakes, yum.my. Especially with powdered sugar – they are similar to elephants ears,just a bit more crunchy I think and maybe a sweeter batter.

mmmmm fair food. I live for fair food. Not really. But it’s sooo good. And seriously, $10?!?! That’s just insane.
And dude, that’s shaved ice. Or Hawaiian ice. Not a sno cone. Nope. Sno cones are small and puny and that thing is HUGE.
Okay so, what BIG names have been at the fair this year?? You know, the ones you have to pay extra to see?

That’s Funnel Cake! I thought you went off the deep end and had ventured into raw livestock parts.
Oh and it’s Hawaiian Shaved Ice. The ice has the consistancy of a snowball before you add the syrup and can be eaten with a spoon. Slushies are looser and usually served in a cup from what I’ve seen.

FUNNEL CAKE is the BEST EVER! Im craving it just sitting in my cube now. It tastes like heaven…but the picture you have doesn’t have powdered sugar on it – it MUST have powdered sugar.

Judi and Theresa, I saw one this week that had Strawberries, Strawberry syrup and Powdered sugar on it. that looked good.
Okay, what is that stuff that is $10? It looks like spaghetti, but it can’t be… spaghetti isn’t weird enough to be at the fair.
Never mind… just noticed the name of the file. All I can say is, when your french fries look like spaghetti… somethin’ is wrong with those fries.
