My Hot Date!
So, the kids are away and the parents are gonna play 
I got home from work tonight and tam and I went for a long walk and then headed out to a nice dinner at a local place called Rostel’s. Great little spot. Good food, great drinks and the best company in the world. We then went by blockbuster, picked up a couple of movies and are now hanging in the bedroom watching movies.
I love hanging with my wife. I love just being with her. We could just sit in the same room with no agenda and I would be happy.

That picture totally reminds me of my wife. Once, I had a Scotch sitting next to me and she thought it was ginger ale or something and took a big mouthful. She was gasping for air and I was laughing my head off.

Scotch is my favorite when I can afford. I usually stick with Bourbons but I love scotch. When we go to my Dad’s for Thanksgiving my brother and I usually put a gallon of scotch away over the weekend. Good times, good times.

Despite spending my late teens to mid 20s in a perpetual stupor, yes I do. I only really drink over Thanksgiving and it is not like I am pounding scotch I am have a drink an hour until I go to sleep so it is gradual and I get that great buzz going.

I don’t know if you know this, but it is a crime for anyone to drink some of that “twelve-year-old single malt” while holding their nose. A CRIME, I say! She seriously needs some practice in nosing and tasting. Perhaps next time you could add a dab of water to your dram and have her try it that way. People with a weak palate somehow find that more…”bearable.”

One more thing…
…personally, I think it is a waste to put away a whole gallon of Scotch in a single weekend–unless you’ve got 14 siblings and their spouses and everybody is over 21.
Scotch isn’t liquor or whiskey or gin or vodka or tequilla or bourbon. Heck, a brain tumor or a Vulcan will go down easier.
But Scotch…is Scotch. It sets my esophagus on fire and then explodes the instant it hits my stomach.
And that’s just a sip.
But, oh, that’s good stuff. Puts me out like a light, which is what got me started on the stuff in the first place.
Okay. I’ve talked too much. Heh.
